Sudeley Castle Print | Watercolor

I was inspired to sketch this castle because my friend, Philippa Brewell, is partnering with The Tudor Travel Guide to take a group to on the 1535 Progress Tour of Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn.

Henry and Anne were married in 1535, and as one does in Tudor England, they toured the country in celebration of their marriage called a “Progress”. One of the places they stayed during that tour was Sudeley Castle, which is also one of the primary stops on this historical travel tour. (Learn more about Philippa's tours at

This print is designed to be printed on portrait mode 8.5 x 11 in full color. The print features the illustration of the castle, and a short description of the castle beneath so that, when framed, viewers can tell the castle's name and location.
